Customer Service: How should it be?

Do you see the picture of this imitation of a person on the phone doing customer service?  Well then, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see this picture?  The first picture that comes to my mind is that there is a person on the other end of the phone who is mad at this person for his horrible customer service. The person on the other end of the phone probably wants to scream at this person for being so rude and for having such a bad attitude.  This is not the way customer service should be. When you call some big organization for some help, the idea is that customer service should be a pleasant experience.  But sadly today it is the quite opposite.  Most companies are not good at customer service.

This is one area Sport Durst Chrysler Dodge Jeep excels in.  They treat everyone with respect and do not give anyone a bad attitude.  However, you should hear some of these companies and how their customer service representatives talk to their customers.  I mean I heard a phone call the other day where a person wanted to buy a car, and the dealership did not pick up the person’s call at all.  Finally after an hour the person hung up.  Now you tell me is that any way to run a business?  A business is supposed to be run profitably, but if their customer service is not good, the business will be run into the ground very quickly.
