The 2013 Dodge Dart is a great car. However, what distinguishes it from the rest of the great cars out there? If you were born in the 1960’s or 1970’s you probably remember the Dodge Dart of back then, but if you were born in the late 80’s like me, you’re not going to know there was a Dart already back then. (I only found out there was a Dart back then because I am in the SEO automotive industry and have to know these things.)
Well Dodge must have thought it was a great car also because guess what? Yes you are right, they are reviving it. Obviously, the Dart in this era of high gas prices versus back then will be more fuel efficient. It would look weird if the Dart had mileage numbers in the single digits and every other car had mileage numbers in the double digits.
However, if you were born back in the 60’s or 70’s and do in fact remember the Dart, chances are this won’t be the ideal vehicle for you. This car is made to target a younger audience, and that audience is people in their mid twenties. It’s not exactly a pretty car, but it’s economical, it has a lot of space and it has plenty of standard features.
There is a choice of three engines for those interested in the Dart, including a 160bhp-powered 2.0-litre unit, a 2.4-litre 184bhp option and the MultiAir Turbo 1.4-litre engine that is certainly an example that won’t have been seen on the original.
If you are of the older generation and would like to test drive the Dodge Dart at Sport Durst NC and see the difference between the car of today and back then, or if you are a young man like me who just wants to take the Dart for a test drive, come down to Sport Durst of NC.
